Longarm Quilting Services

Every quilt is a unique combination of design, color, texture, construction and pattern in both fabric and thread.  We can help you create the exact quilt that you have in mind.

If you have a quilt top that you are ready to have finished by a Longarm Quilter, here are some ideas to ponder as you prepare for your appointment. What effect are you looking for?  Do you want the thread to simply hold the quilt together or have a bold impact that compliments your piecing work, or something in between?  Would you prefer subtle colors that blend or contrasting colors that perhaps echo the designs in your fabric?

Another idea to think about is what type of stitching you might like.  An allover or pantograph type design is stitched uniformly over the entire quilt.  These designs extend over the piecing and borders and have a unique look of their own, different from the quilt parts.  This can be subtle, acting more as the glue for the quilt or bold, creating a new, complimentary design that is imposed over the piecing, depending on the size and design of the pattern.  Custom work is intended to enhance or become a part of the art of the quilt piecing.  It can reflect the designs in the quilt or the fabric, introduce new or compatible motifs and can even add dimension to your entire creation.

As a team, we will work with you to create beauty and elegance from the "finishing" of a quilt that once was deemed time consuming and sometimes tedious. And once this one is finished, you have time to start your next one!  Together, with you, we can take your thoughts and ideas and create a finished quilt that you will show off with pride.
