Elegant Counterpanes requires an initial deposit on all quilts prior to scheduling your order. Use
our secure online system to place your order and make your deposit. Note: initial deposits
are not refundable. Because each quilt is custom made, the deposit fee is kept to cover
materials purchased and time spent on your order even if you cancel.
If you wish, you may print a hard copy order form and mail a check or money order instead of
using the online system. We will contact you once the order is received by mail and is
scheduled. Note, we do hold orders paid by personal check for one week so the check may clear
our bank.
Gift Certificates may be redeemed the same way as orders by check. Please follow the
instructions on the gift certificate and enclose a check or money order with the balance of the
deposit amount (if any). We will contact you when we receive your order and it is scheduled.
Note: if you have a Gift Certificate for more than the total of the quilt ordered, we will issue a
new Gift Certificate for the balance that can be used towards future purchases. If, however, you
prefer a cash balance refund we will refund up to 20% of the Gift Certificate for cash but not
more than $100. Additional balances will be forfeited.
Once your deposit and order are received, your order is assigned a date for the quilt to be started
and the materials are ordered. When the quilt is completed, you will be sent a final invoice, and
the balance of your payment (including shipping costs) will be due. Texas residents will be
charged 8.25% sales tax. Again, deposits are non-refundable if the order is cancelled for any
reason.
Once payment in full has been received, your quilt will be insured and shipped signature
required. You will be notified, by email, of the shipping method and approximate delivery date
(based on carrier’s information). If tracking numbers are available you will receive that
information as well. Note that we require a signature upon delivery.
Privacy Policy: We do not sell our customer list to third parties and we will not solicit orders by
phone/mail/email at future times.
Elegant Counterpanes ships either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx . All orders are insured and
require a delivery signature upon receipt. We ship only within the U.S. If you purchase more
than one item at a time, the order will be shipped when completely filled. If you wish one item
shipped ahead of the other, shipping will apply to each shipment. While gift wrapping is not
available, we will ship gifts to addresses you specify noting that signature will still be required at
delivery.
